Awake My Soul
I greet all being with love and joy at the prospect of discovering more about who we are and living that discovery everyday through the process we call life. Namaste.
What is the mission and what is the goal?
What is the storyline of my life, just waiting to be foretold?
Who am I, and why am I here?
These are the questions that ring out loud and clear.
“Do this method or choose that method.” These are the sayings of the masters and gurus.
It can all become so confusing, egoic vision staring at the choices, trying to keep from getting bruised.
All the ideas and thoughts from my family, environment and world all swirl around me.
Waiting to devour my intuition, the clear seeing of who and why I came to be.
We are all confronted with the twists and turns of life as well as the pain and misery.
When confronted with these things, do we look at them and ask GOD, why me?
This is a typical response when the waters of the deep overturn your ships of stability.
Forcing you to leave the safety and comfort of the person that you have always called me.
This time I have come to find in my experience, are the spaces in which change is not that far away.
The opening of the clouds and the sun shining through on a rainy day.
This is the feeling of knowing that the things that happen to you in your life,
Are just different ways to get you inside of your heart and pray.
Live life from your heart with care and compassion.
Listen to what you heart and mind are saying and find the balance between the two.
Every day is a new day to experience what you’ve hoped and dreamt for.
Discarding yesterdays experience for today, there stands a new you.
Waiting to explore the contrast of life, producing echoes in your heart screaming more, more, more.
Awake my soul is the mantra of today.
Awake my soul is what will keep the demons at bay.
Awake my soul is the song that my hearts sings.
Awake my soul is what I heard when I woke up to the fresh smells of Spring.
